At 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3rd, we’re hosting the most exciting event of AAO 2024 at The Sugar Mill. This premiere party and concert venue is located just steps from your hotel, positioned in between the convention center and The Hilton New Orleans Riverside. It’s directly adjacent to the Convention Center, so you won’t have to go far to rock with the crowd.

On Friday, May 3rd, we will be celebrating a special occasion – the 40th birthday of Relapse’s drummer, Dr. Kyle Fagala. Not only is Kyle a talented musician, but he's also an accomplished Orthodontist, the engaging host of The Digital Orthodontist: Live!, and a respected speaker and influential figure in the Orthodontic community.

This milestone birthday is set to add an extra layer of enthusiasm to an event that's already highly anticipated.

Catch Relapse: The World’s Only All-Orthodontist Band

Relapse is a unique band composed entirely of orthodontists that primarily showcases its musical talents at various orthodontic conferences. We’ve rocked:

MOPC 2023, where we entertained 500 guests aboard the USS Midway
OP 2023 with a 1,500-guest audience at the House of Blues Orlando
The 2023 AAO Annual Session, held in the Wintrust Arena for an impressive crowd of 6,500 attendees & the 2022 Invisalign Summit, captivating 4,000 guests

We formed Relapse in 2017 as a band comprised solely of notable orthodontists in the field, and our ensemble currently features the following: Dr. Kyle Fagala (Drums), Dr. Chris Teeters (Guitars), Dr. Brian Anderson (Keyboards), Dr. Jacquee Schieck (Bass, Vocals), Dr. Akash Pandya (Vocals), Dr. Doug Shaw (Vocals), and Dr. Grant Collins (Vocals).
